From caring for our smallest patients to working cattle and horses out in the field, our vet techs play an important role in everything we do at South Plains Veterinary Clinic!

We are so thankful for their hard work, dedication, and the care they show every patient that walks through our doors (or meets us out in the pasture!). ❤️

Your dog looks healthy. So why run tests? 🐶🩺

A physical exam can tell us a lot about your pet, but it doesn’t tell us everything we need to know.

Wellness testing can give us additional information about things like blood cell counts, organ function, urinary health, thyroid function, and more — even when your pet isn’t showing any obvious signs of a problem.

That’s why routine wellness testing can be an important part of preventive care.
South Plains Veterinary Clinic is now offering wellness packages for both dogs and cats! 🐾

Have questions about if the wellness packages would be good for your pet, give us a call or schedule an appointment.

⚠️ Heads up! Some of the photos in this post are a little graphic.

This is Deets. 🐾

When Deets first came to us, he had a pretty significant wound on his back that needed some serious care. We started treatment and kept track of his progress along the way.

Fast forward through lots of cleaning, care, rechecks, and patience, and Deets’ back wound is healed! 🙌

It’s always pretty cool to look back at the first photo and see how far a patient has come. We’re so happy with how Deets’ wound has healed and are proud of the progress he made!

A big thank you to Deets’ owners for trusting our team with his care and sticking with us throughout the process. ❤️‍🩹

Take a look through the photos to see Deets’ healing journey from his first visit to his most recent recheck!

Big or small, we do it all.
