Just a heads up: we will be closed this Friday in observance of July 4th! Please be sure to get any necessary medication and food refills by Thursday.

Here are some tips to keeping your pets safe this holiday weekend:
• exercise your pets early on in the day! They will be easier to handle if they are over all calmer.
•keep pets INSIDE! Where we all know they’ll stay safe, if they are outside make sure they are secured with a leash.
•make sure all microchip information is up to date
•some anxiety medications can be helpful in instances of loud noises. Please give us a call if that is something you’d like more information on.
• make sure your pet does not have access to any toxins such as glow sticks, fireworks, sparklers, or any table scrapes that might not be safe for our four legged friends!
We hope everyone has a fun and safe Fourth of July! 🐾 🇺🇸 🎆

Summer in Maine means, black flies become a common nuisance—not just for us, but for our dogs too. These tiny biting insects can leave red, circular marks on your dog’s belly, ears, or inner thighs.

Using a monthly prevention like Vectra 3D (which also treats fleas and ticks!) can help as it contains a dog safe fly repellent.

We want to inform everyone of an upcoming change to our boarding services. Moving forward, we will no longer be offering weekend boarding accommodations. However, we will continue to provide boarding services Monday through Thursday for our patients and clients.

This decision was not made lightly, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we make adjustments to better serve both our staff and the pets in our care. Our team remains committed to providing the same compassionate, attentive care to which your pets are accustomed.

If you currently have questions about future boarding reservations or would like to schedule a weekday stay, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. We are happy to help in any way we can.

Thank you for your continued trust and support of our clinic and staff. We are grateful to care for your furry family members!
