Dr. Murray’s dedication to this work is deeply personal. Heidi, his blue heeler, has been by his side through veterinary school and Chance, his thoroughbred gelding, joins him on evening and weekend trail rides. These relationships shape his understanding of the human-animal bond, reinforcing the importance of compassionate end-of-life care.
