London is thriving in foster just like we knew he would!!! He’s a handsome, sweet and silly pooch who is constantly overlooked in the shelter.

This boy dreams of a forever home that includes another dog (or two). He finds his confidence around other canines. Look how much he adores his foster sister 🥰

He’s working on his house training and loves giving his foster mama kisses 😘

Does London sound like the perfect match for you and your crew? Apply to meet this boy today ⬇️

Kiki is a foster dog! 🎉 Surrendered to SAVE at the tender age of 10 when her owners could no longer care for her. She’d been waiting in the shelter for weeks and then her heroes arrived. A shepherd loving family applied to join our foster network and they immediately chose Kiki.

Kiki is thriving in her new environment. She remains available for adoption. If you are ready to give Kiki a permanent home, complete our adoption application today!

Today, we said goodbye to our beautiful Sandy, and our hearts are heavy 😢

We transferred Sandy to SAVE from the Trenton Shelter, where her gentle, easygoing nature made her the dog who helped staff assess how other dogs behaved around a canine friend. She had the sweetest heart, and we could see why they trusted her with that role 💕

We knew Sandy had a history of urinary tract infections. We said ‘yes’ to her because of her wonderful nature and because we believed we could help her feel better and find the loving home she deserved.

Yesterday, an ultrasound revealed a large, inoperable tumor in her bladder, believed to be cancer. We also learned that she was in pain. With no way to give her the comfortable future we had imagined, we made the heartbreaking decision to humanely euthanize her.

Like so many of you, we had pictured Sandy’s next chapter—a family of her own, a favorite spot on the couch, and years of being loved. Saying goodbye to those hopes, and to this sweet girl, hurts deeply. But we are grateful that she is no longer suffering.

Thank you for making our work possible and helping us say yes to dogs like Sandy. We wish her story had ended differently. Her life mattered, and so did the chance to care for her.

Rest peacefully, sweet Sandy. You will be forever in our hearts. 🌈🐶
