I want to send a HUGE thanks to Blackstone Farm Fall Craft Festival for organizing such a wonderful event! I had a great time visiting with families and people from near and far who came out to enjoy a fun day. I look forward to next year's event.

I also want to give a huge thanks to everyone who came out and supported the many talented local artists. It is incredibly inspiring to be surrounded by such talent.

The Crown of Maine Balloon Fest was a blast! We had such a great time this weekend hanging with talented crafters and the friendly people of the County.

A huge thanks to everyone who helps make the fest the success it is, and to ask the supporters.

I'm REALLY REALLY excited about vending at the Balloon Festival in Presque Isle. When we first came to Maine, attending was top on the list. The following 2 summers, we went and were able to secure spots for an early morning sunrise ride. Now, I'll be a vendor at this HUGE event up in the County. Come check out all the hubbub and swing by the vendor area. There's going to be a lot of great artists there.

I decided these pairs of Eddie Bauer and Carhartt pants needed fancy cyanotype canvas double knees.

After printing and washing the canvas, I loved the look of the freyed edges and chose to keep them rather than having the usual clean and tidy edges.

I really love how these came out. Both pairs of pants are super comfy. I can't wait to see who they go home with!

It's Pride Aroostook day!

And, in typical June fashion, it might be a bit damp. We think that the weather will dry up and be pretty dang okay for the Festival this afternoon but bring your umbrellas just in case. We hope to see you there!

There will be music (DJ Cory Tilley and No Original Ideas (a cover band)). There will be vendors. There will be places to sit and places to dance.

A walking parade at 4:45pm - bring your flags and sound makers.
