Did you know that Giardia is a zoonotic parasite? This means it can be transmitted from pets to humans. While the risk of direct transmission from dogs or cats to healthy adults is generally low, the parasite is highly contagious within households and common environments.

If your pet is experiencing persistent digestive upset, contact us to schedule a screening.
