Thank you for helping these animals Sioux Falls Area Humane Society

🚨100 animals arrived in a matter of hours....🚨

With the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office, SFAHS helped rescue over 100 animals last week.

While we cannot say much, we can say that they are safe.

Cases like this place an immediate strain on our shelter. More animals mean more medical care, medications, cleaning, staffing, and space. Right now, we are operating at 25% over capacity.

While these animals are not available for adoption, they still require care and resources.

Our team will continue showing up every day with compassion and determination. But we can't do it alone.

If you're able to give, your donation helps provide the medical care, supplies, and daily support every animal in our shelter depends on.
