🛁🫧 Spa Day for Opal 💅🏻✨

Opal has been back with us for a month, and she’s still waiting for her furever home! 🏡❤️

She’s a 7 year old, Chihuahua/Terrier mix! 🩷 This sweetie pie is Piggle Wiggles & Friends third dog foster and we’re working with Dakota Dachshund Rescue to help with adoption. 🙏

Ms. Opal loves to give kisses and snuggle under the blankets! 😘💋 She loves walks and treats, as well as cuddling and napping. She gets along with dogs, cats, other animals, and she loves children! 🐾🩵

Harmony needs a home by Saturday! 🙏❤️🐾

TWO DAYS. 💔

That’s all that remains of the life Harmony has known for the last eight years.

On Saturday morning, she will wake up in the home she knows, with the people she knows and the routine she understands. And at some point that day, she will get into a vehicle and leave it all behind.

She won’t understand that people have been sharing her picture hundreds of times. She won’t know how many comments have been left or how many people have said they wish they could help.

Harmony only understands what she knows. Her people. Her home. Her routine. Her safety.

And in two days, all of that changes.

We have pushed so hard for an adopter because at 11 years old, the last thing we want is for Harmony to leave one family, settle somewhere temporarily, attach to someone else and then have to start all over again when her forever home finally comes along. She deserves for this next transition to be her last.

There is still time to make that happen.

Harmony is healthy, active, incredibly full of life and looking for a quiet adult home where she can spend the rest of it being someone’s girl again. Eight years of being loved by one family doesn’t suddenly disappear because their circumstances changed. She knows how to be someone’s dog. She is simply waiting for someone willing to become her someone.

We have two days left to find them.

Please don’t just feel sorry for Harmony. Help us find her home. Share her with your family, your friends, your coworkers and anyone you know who has talked about adding a senior dog to their life.

Somewhere out there is a person who could change everything that happens to Harmony on Saturday.

We just need to reach them. ❤️

✨ FOUND CAT ✨

My neighbor found this sweet girl outside our apartment building (69th and Cliff)! 🧡🐾 She spent the night with us and she was turned over to the Animal Control. We posted her on Lost and Found FB group pages as well. 🙏

She’s very friendly and clean, she didn’t have a collar or a chip. 🎀🩷 We’re praying her family is reunited with her, or she finds a new furever home. 😻🏡

Opal is waiting for her furever home! 🤍🤎🐾🏡🐶

💋 Breaking News: Opal has officially launched her campaign to become your full-time cuddle buddy… and she’s running unopposed.

At 6 years old, Opal has perfected the important things in life: giving kisses, collecting treats (peanut butter, Pupperoni, and cheese are top-tier), going for walks, and turning naps into an Olympic event.

She loves dogs, cats, kids, and pretty much anyone willing to hand out belly rubs. Because she’s an enthusiastic little explorer, she’ll need a secure fenced yard to keep her safe. She also still likes having puppy pads available while she continues building confidence with her potty routine. She’s doing well on leash walks, though new or scary things can make her hit the “pause” button for a moment.

Despite having five homes in just six years through no fault of her own, Opal’s heart is still wide open. She’s simply looking for the person who’ll say, “That’s my girl,” and mean it forever.
