Meet Miles, a handsome 5-year-old dachshund whose daily schedule includes:

🐾 Following you everywhere
🛋️ Cuddling whenever possible
😂 Demanding belly rubs as payment for his services
🐿️ Maintaining a very serious squirrel surveillance program

Miles believes personal space is highly overrated and that every human should have a dachshund shadow attached to them at all times.

If you’re looking for a sweet cuddlebug with a little squirrel-chasing enthusiasm mixed in, Miles may be your guy! ❤️🐾

A physically fenced yard is required to keep him safe. He really loves chasing squirrels 🐿️

🎾 MAXIMUM CUTENESS. MAXIMUM SNUGGLES. MAXIMUM MAX. 🐾

Meet Max, a 5-year-old dachshund who has decided that wherever you are is exactly where he needs to be. ❤️

Max is deaf, but he’s learning hand signals and proving that he doesn’t need to hear you to know you’re his person. He’ll follow you everywhere, snuggle beside you for TV time, and strongly believes the bed is where dachshunds belong. 😴

He’s also a BALL-RETRIEVING PROFESSIONAL. Throw it. He’ll get it. He’ll bring it back. Throw it again. Congratulations, you now have a personal ball boy. 😂🎾

Max loves walks, is doing great with his house training, and is working hard on his nighttime kennel skills.

He’s sweet, devoted, cuddly, and just wants to be part of the action. His one non-negotiable? A fenced yard is required. 🏡

If your idea of a perfect companion is a little sausage who wants to follow you, snuggle you, play ball with you, and basically supervise your entire existence… Max would like to discuss his résumé. 🥰🐾

💙 KELOLAND & Lewis Pet Food Drive! 💙

Stop by KELOLAND this Friday and help stock the shelves for local pets in need!

Whether it’s a bag of Dog food, Cat food, or monetary donations, every gift makes a difference. 🐶🐱

September 4th | 7am-2pm | At KELOLAND

Can’t make it to KELOLAND on Friday? No problem!

Lewis Drug will be collecting donations at all locations (except the downtown location) throughout the weekend. While you’re out shopping, grab an extra item for a pet who needs it!

Donations will be shared between Almost Home Canine Rescue, Dakota Dachshund Rescue, and SFAHS.

The Dachshunds 🐾of Dakota Dachshund Rescue are jumping for joy. There are only 10 cards 🎴 left where their beloved Queen 👸of Hearts 💕 could be hiding. They can feel it in their bones, someone is going to find their Queen. The jackpot for the week 45 drawing will be over $100,000 💵 💰 That means if the Queen of Hearts is found this coming Tuesday at Remedy Brewing Company, someone will win over $50,000 and the dachshunds will have their Queen back with them.

Be sure to get your tickets for the chance to win over $50,000. You can buy tickets in person at Remedy until 7:00 pm the night of the drawing. If you can’t be at Remedy, if you live out of town or in another state, you can still get tickets for the chance to win over $50,000. Remember you don’t have to be present to win. Tickets are $5 each. There is bundle pricing available. Get 5 tickets for $20, 15 tickets for $50 or 35 tickets for $100. At 7:11 pm, one ticket will be drawn and the matching envelope opened for the crowd to see. If the Queen of Hearts is in that envelope, someone just won over $50,000.
