Phoenix brought plenty of energy to her program 🐾

A big focus was helping her learn how to manage all that excitement. We worked on better manners, impulse control, leash walking, and teaching her how to decompress and settle instead of always needing to be doing something or demanding attention.

We also spent time on drop. Phoenix really struggled with giving up things she considered high value, so teaching her to let go when asked was an important part of her training.

Sunny had plenty of puppy energy to work through during her program 🐾

A lot of our work focused on making walks easier and more enjoyable. That meant less pulling, better focus around distractions, and helping her stay calmer around people, dogs, and loud noises instead of turning that excitement into leash biting, jumping, or puppy tantrums.

We also worked on recall, greetings, impulse control, and one of those important puppy skills…learning how to settle when the fun is over.

Leo wrapped up his board and train program 🐾

Leo is still just a puppy, so this was all about building a good foundation from the start. We worked on basic obedience, leash manners, boundaries, and learning how to settle and make better choices around the house.

With his owners retired and grandchildren regularly in his life, good manners are going to be a big part of growing up for Leo. The goal is a puppy who can enjoy being part of everything without creating chaos while doing it!

Meet Finn 🐾

We are working on him constantly grabbing and chewing things around the house that aren’t his.

We are also focusing on visitors. Finn tends to bark, follow them around, and jump when they come in or move through the house, so we’ll be working on giving people space and learning how to settle when company is over.

Meet Roger 🐾

Roger is a 6 month old rescue who is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place.

Right now we are focusing on confidence building and giving him positive exposure to new people, dogs, environments, sounds, and everyday situations. Just as important, we are teaching him how to work through moments when he feels unsure and recover instead of shutting down or becoming overwhelmed.

For Roger, it’s all about taking things at his pace and letting those little wins add up.

At home, we worked on jumping, demand barking, and teaching her how to decompress, self soothe, and just relax. Sometimes doing nothing is a skill too!

Topper finished our day training program. During his time with us, we focused on strengthening his obedience, building better impulse control, introducing the PLACE command to teach him how to settle and relax, and teaching the GO command to create clearer boundaries and improve communication with his owners. We are proud of the progress this guy made and excited to watch him keep growing. 🐾

These Great Dane siblings each weigh close to 200 pounds 🐾🐾

Their owners came to us struggling with major reactivity toward dogs and bikes. When dogs this size decide to charge toward a trigger, it is not just frustrating, it becomes a serious liability.

We have been working on leash manners, better decision making around distractions, front door behaviors, and strengthening obedience so their owners can safely enjoy life with them again.

Big dogs. Big responsibility. Big progress. 💛
