❗️PART TIME POSITION

❗️Job responsibilities: cleaning fish tanks, cleaning animal cages, feeding/watering animals

❗️In the words of an old wholesome meme: "It ain't much, but it's honest work."

Ideal candidates are:
⭐️ 16 years or older
⭐️ have consistent during the week or after school availability
⭐️ have at least one weekend day available
⭐️ can comfortably lift 40lbs (those water buckets get awfully heavy after a long day)
⭐️ have own transportation (or independent means to get to work)

Happy Sunday, Fish Fans! 🐠💕

If you've been following the page for awhile, you know that these posts can get a little sentimental this time of year (in a good way!)

Fourteen years ago, I started working here at Emmons. Anywhere else, 14 years is a long time... but here, well, I'm still just the baby of the group. Steve learned the trade from his dad's side when he was just a kid. Dave is getting close to his second gold watch-iversary. Jeff has gone through three major life stages: teenager, pond manager, and Santa. Pam, Andrew, and Tony all have 20+ years under their belt as well.

Emmons has been a staple in Simsbury for over 55 years. It's not just a store. It's a place where kids and adults alike can experience the joy of the aquarist hobby. It's a place where people can pick the brains of fish experts. And it's a place where your family becomes part of ours.
