There’s a side of veterinary medicine that doesn’t always make it into the exam room.
It’s the lump in your throat after losing a patient you fought so hard for. The tears shed after a difficult goodbye. The worry you take home after a long day. The moments you celebrate because a patient made it through — and the moments that stay with you because one didn’t.
Our team loves what we do. We love your pets. We celebrate their victories, worry about them, advocate for them, and sometimes grieve them alongside you.
But behind the scrubs, the smiles, and the “How can we help you today?” are real people with real emotions.
Today, we hope you’ll remember the people caring for your pets, too. Not because we expect perfection or sympathy — but because kindness is something we can all give freely.
To every veterinary professional who has ever cried in the break room, stayed late because a patient needed them, or gone home thinking about a case long after their shift ended:
We see you. We appreciate you. And you matter. 🐾💚 #
