Cosmo and Stella are now safe, but their journey is only just beginning.

As with many rescue intakes, they’ll need full medical evaluations, ongoing care, and support while we learn exactly what they need to heal and thrive. Every vet visit, test, and treatment adds up, and that’s where our village comes in.

This year tested us in ways we never could have imagined. Starting off the year with the LA fires. Our amazing community jumped right into action providing support.
There were moments of heartbreak, exhaustion, and uncertainty, but we kept going. We kept showing up because of you.

Every life saved, every second chance given, every animal that found safety… it happened because of this community that believes in us and stands beside us through it all. Your support, love, and trust carried us through the hardest days.

As we step into the new year, we do so stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever. New beginnings are coming, and we can’t wait to continue this journey with you. We could not do it without YOU! 💕

Today is Giving Tuesday… and it just so happens to be my birthday. TODAY ONLY: Every donation will be MATCHED up to $5,000 Doubling the impact for the animals who need us most.
And honestly, there is nothing I want more than to raise money for the injured, abused, and neglected animals who need us most.

Giving Tuesday and my Birthday fundraiser is our big annual fundraiser push to rally our community together so we can continue to rescue more animals in 2026!

In the last five years, we’ve saved 200+ of the worst medical cases. The ones most people would walk away from, the ones whose stories break you before they ever heal. The vet bills are overwhelming. The cases are gut-wrenching. But we keep going… because they deserve someone who won’t give up on them.

It truly takes a village, and I am endlessly grateful for ours, our volunteers, fosters, veterinary teams, and every donor who believes in this mission. You are the reason we can keep doing this. You are the reason Bentley’s legacy is so much more than a memory.

Some days this work breaks me open all over again.
But every life saved reminds me why I started… and why I’ll never stop.

When we went to pick up Chuck today, fate had other plans. Little puppy Kenny was being surrendered to the shelter and before he could even step foot in the doors, I said I’ll take him too! Meet Kenny aka Kenneth our little stow away! 🧡

Kenny has some skin issues that we need to resolve along with being underweight, and he will also need to be neutered! We are happy we were at the right place at the right time to help him!

Meet Chuck 🐾💙 Our Miracle from South LA Shelter

This morning, with only MINUTSE to spare,(6 minutes to be exact) we pulled Chuck off the euthanasia list at the South LA shelter after only being at the shelter for less than 2 weeks he was given no time to even decompress.

Chuck was brought into the south La shelter when she found him in the rain under a tarp. His angel worked tirelessly the past 2 weeks to find him a foster but we had no luck. Chuck was overlooked again and again, and time had finally run out. But thanks to the quick action of our rescue team and the support of this amazing community, he’s getting a second chance at life.

Chuck is safe now!💙

Agate is safe!!! We rescued 4 month old Agate from Devore as a Hail Mary save just moments before he was euthanized for being exposed to parvo! Thankfully his foster stepped up to foster him, where he will be quarantined to make sure he does not have parvo! We are so grateful for everyone that came together in the final moments when he needed us the most! Our boy is SAFE!♥️

Oh and couldn’t leave there with extra creatures so we also added a mama cat and kittens to the crew!

Jack♥️
I know you have all been waiting for an update on Jack, we took our time making sure we found him the perfect home where he will be loved for the rest of his life! We are so happy to share that Jack has been adopted by Jack now has a brother named Charlie who also has one eye and 2 cat sisters with one of his sisters having no eyes. To say Maggie is the perfect home for him is an understatement! We are so happy for our boy! Welcome to your happily ever after Jack Jack♥️

Jack update! Little Jack had a recheck with his neurologist and he was overall happy with how he looked, he did say that Jack will need to be on seizure medications for his entire life, there is a possibility he will not but we just aren’t sure yet. As far as his eye, it is healing well and it is still up in the air if he needs to have it removed. Jack has a recheck with the ophthalmologist next week, we will have a definitive answer about his eye then. We are so proud of our little man! He has come so far in such a short amount of time. Thank you to everyone for your continuously love for our boy!♥️

Lady!
Who remembers this sweet face? We rescued Lady and her puppy from the Devore shelter a few months ago when they were both set to be euthanized by the end of the day. She has been doing so well in her foster home, she has recovered from her spay and now it’s time for our Lady girl to find a home of her own where she can just be a dog and not have continuous litters of puppies. She is an absolute doll and is good with other dogs, kids, and she knows basic commands and has great manners. Message us if you’re interested in meeting this sweet girl! ♥️
