Oakhill Pekingese AKC Breeder of Merit and Pekingese Club of America Bronze Breeder Of Merit. Breeder of 25 AKC Champions since 2001. Welcome to Oakhill Pekingese.

My name is Kaesi Cook and I live in Silverton Oregon. I am passionate about Pekingese and love to share my knowledge and experience. I've owned Pekingese for over 33 years and have been a breeder/exhibitor since 1999. My first AKC Champion finished in 2001. He was my first homebred boy and the first Best In Specialty show winner. His name was Sun Dragon. His official name was AKC/CKC CH Oakhill's Sun Dragon Of Windemere, ROM. He's the sire of 10 Champion offspring. My kennel and success is based on his bloodlines and all of the Pekingese I raise are down from him. I owe it all to him, an amazing dog that I was blessed to know and love. I hope you enjoy our site and if you have any questions of concerns about Pekingese please don't hesitate to email or message me. Many Blessing,

Kaesi

My parents and Mike and I celebrated Lionel’s birthday today by going to Lincoln City Kite Festival and having a delicious lunch at the Chinook Winds Casino restaurant. The windows were huge and we sat at a table in front of the windows and watched the gorgeous Ocean and amazing kites fly from right inside the restaurant. I had Lionel in his stroller so he was allowed inside. He never made a peep. It was like he’d been to a casino a hundred times before. He’s such a good boy. We then drove onto the beach and people watched which is hilariously fun. Anyway, we didn’t get a single pic so I’m using a pic from July and had ChatGPT put a party hat on his head. 😆

I had a wonderful visit with my friends Jaime Dohrmann & Alison Peabody today. Jaime has CH Cappy and he’s looking fabulous at 13 yrs of age. He’s very much loved. She brought me the most thoughtful gifts, a framed Presidents Medal from the Pekingese Club Of America Summer show in 1917! What a treasure!! She also brought some sweet treats that are divine. What an awesome day. ♥️🤤🇺🇸
