Update: She’s found a guardian 🏠

Guardian Home Opportunity: This sweet red and white Havanese girl should mature to 12-15 lbs. She is smart, affectionate but a little independent. Loves to play. Gets along well with other dogs. Started on potty training and crate training.

Guardian home means she lives her life as your loved family companion but stays a part of our breeding program for a limited number of litters. Once she is retired she will live the rest of her life with you. Guardian home must be within 1 1/2 hr drive from Silverton, OR , no intact male dogs in the home and must be committed to provide socializing and training. Ruby’s litter are starting to get used to baths. The first bath, we tried to avoid getting the head wet to make it easier on them and to keep them from getting too chilled. Then we always follow up with lots and lots of snuggles.

We are intentional on how we raise our puppies and use a mix of different puppy curriculums including service dog BAB, Puppy Culture, Rules of 7, ENS. At this stage we introduce new items in the whelping box for the puppies to explore. We start with gentle safe predictable items. Then as they mature we slowly add more challenging items. Different textures (hard, soft, lick mats, etc). Louder toys. Unpredictable things (rolling ball, dancing baby toys, etc). Different locations (outside, different rooms in the house). Different flooring (carpet, tile, gravel, wood, cement).
