Barn Hunt and dock diving are already in the mix also, and I cannot wait to see everything she does. Her owner, Jessica Wilson, is thrilled with her Simply Golden girl—and I am just ridiculously proud watching Birdie shine. THIS is a part of what makes breeding so much fun. 🥹💛

Just another completely normal day in the life of a dog breeder… 😂

Drive halfway between Oregon and Washington. Meet another Golden Retriever in the middle of a random field. Let Dottie absolutely lose her mind with excitement when she realizes Bogey is there. Then act like none of this is remotely strange.

Breeding dogs really does take you to some interesting places. 😂

All in the name of health testing and good genetics!

For those of you who guessed that Dottie is pregnant… YOU WERE RIGHT! 🎉🙌🏼 We can officially announce this pairing!

We are THRILLED to be able to use Bogey again. BONUS—Bogey carries the same double low-shed genes as Dottie, which means this litter will be **100% double low-shed puppies!** 🤩

I just sent my kids off for their first day of school and then made the terrible decision to take a little trip down memory lane. 😭

Eight years of pictures later, I was already an emotional mess… and then I found some BABY DOTTIE pictures.

So naturally I had to compare them to Dottie now and apparently today is just the day I cry about everybody growing up. 😂😭

My babies are getting bigger. My puppy is getting bigger. Time needs to calm down.
