Happy 11th Birthday MrBojangles 🎉🐍💚 Can you find him?

05/23/2022

MrBojangles was able to enjoy last week's warm weather & go on a 5 minute field trip. This outstretched neck behavior is known as "scoping" & is a sign of a very curious & confident snake. 💚🐍💚

Who else like Legos like MrBojangles?

Another exciting & fun opportunity to share our love of reptiles! Thank you Ali & your group of animal loving kiddos for allowing us another event to teach & share.

It will NEVER get old to watch the transformation from "Ew! I'm NOT going NEAR that snake!!" to "He's SO cute! I love him so MUCH!" followed by a snake cuddle. MrBojangles & Taco changing opinions about reptiles one mind at a time. 💚🐍💚🐢💚

If YOU have a group of potential Explorers, let us know! We'd love to come to your group or classroom!

Welcome to Bo & Taco's Explorer's Club! We are Ellie & Jackson Butler and we have created this page as part of our 2022 4-H Project. Bo is a 10 year old male Ball Python (owned by Ellie) and Taco is a 4 year old male Red Ear Slider Turtle (owned by Jackson).

Missouri 4-H is an active, dynamic organization of young people who are learning, growing, and preparing to be the leaders of today and tomorrow - making a REAL difference in their community, country, and world. 4-H gives youth opportunities to gain leadership, citizenship, and life skills through fun and innovative hands-on activities. We have been members of the Millwood Knights 4-H Club for 2 years.

We have selected our 2022 4-H Project in the category of Environmental Education / Earth Sciences and are specifically focused on Amphibians & Reptiles.

We created Bo & Taco's Explorer's Club to be able to share what we have learned via Facebook but also to coordinate in person events through classroom presentations (Pre-K / Elementary) or in person one-on-one opportunities. Classroom visits will be used for our 4-H Project Credit and we are hoping to do at least 2 visits between March to May 2022. Please contact us TODAY to schedule a visit!

Thank you!
Bo, Taco, Ellie, & Jackson
