Thank you to everyone who supported our online auction! Together, we raised $965 to support Brighter Horizons Equine programs. 💙

Now that the auction has wrapped up, we’re turning our attention to summer horse camp!

Give your child a week they’ll never forget at Brighter Horizons Equine Horse Camp!

Campers will enjoy:
•Daily riding lessons
•Horse care & grooming
•Horse-themed crafts & activities
•Confidence-building experiences
•Outdoor fun and new friendships

No horse experience is needed, just a love of adventure and a willingness to learn!

📅 Session 2: August 3–7, 2026

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Ages 5+

$400 per camper/week
$50 sibling discount
$100 deposit reserves your spot

💙 Thank You, Lincoln County! 💙

Our Brighter Horizons Equine Birthday Bash Auction has officially closed, and thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised $965 to support equine-assisted services for individuals of all abilities.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated items, placed bids, shared our auction, and helped spread the word. We even saw some exciting last-minute bidding wars as supporters competed for their favorite items right up until the auction closed!

Did you know horses need to have their teeth floated (ground down) on average once a year?

Today the amazing vet Sera Moran, DVM from Cascadia Equine Veterinary Clinic came out today to float some teeth for Rev, Pirate, and Dreamer.

She taught a room full of onlookers some important information including that horse top jaws are wider than their bottom jaws, creating uneven grinding. That uneven grinding can create some sharp teeth which can cut up their mouths and make horses very uncomfortable.
