We couldn’t let the week end without praising our amazing veterinary technicians/assistants. This team of strong & compassionate women work tirelessly every single day to care for our patients and their families! From holding a nervous paw, to performing lifesaving care, they truly do it ALL!

There is a quote that reads “To know that even one life has breathed easier because you’ve lived, this is to have succeeded!” To our incredible team, our patients and their families can breathe a little easier knowing that YOU are at the center of their care! 💙🩺

Show these ladies some love in the comments! We would love to hear how much they mean to you and your pets 🐾❤️

We have some new changes coming to The Animal Health Center! We are always looking for ways to better serve our patients and the families who love them. After thoughtful consideration, we have made the decision to close our dog wash and transform the space into a dedicated Comfort and Consultation Room.

This new room will provide a peaceful, private, and welcoming environment for families during some of the most important and emotional moments of their pet’s life. Whether discussing difficult medical decisions, navigating end-of-life care, or saying a final goodbye to a beloved member of the family, we want everyone to feel supported, comfortable, and cared for. This room will also serve as an extra consultation room for regular exams when not being used, as to reduce wait times.

We feel it is important to create a space that feels less like a clinical environment and more like home. A place to be able to grieve in a comfortable and private setting, with also having easy access to enter and leave the building from a separate exit.

While we know our dog wash has been a valued service to our community, we believe this transition will allow us to provide an even deeper level of care to our patients and their families. Stay tuned for updates!

We want this Hurricane in our lives! Someone adopt this sweet boy!!

Hi my name is Hurricane and I am and 8-month-old Great Dane mix. I have been at Sikeston PAWS for about 3 months now. They are great to us here at PAWS and love us a lot but it's not the same has having your own family to go home to everyday. 🏠
I'm a very good puppy and still have energy to play or go for walks, hikes or whatever you would like to do but also would love to chill on the couch and watch netflix. 🛋
I walk great on a leash. 🐾

🏠 When I get adopted I will be neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, f***l checked, and micro chipped. I have been heartworm tested and I'm negative and on prevention

If you are interested in meeting me, please call Sikeston PAWS at 471-7387.

This is a worthwhile cause and a fun event. Reserve a table and help support wild birds in need of rehab.
