Jaw is still extremely swollen, eating and drinking is hit and miss. Hoping I will see big improvements in the next couple of days. Summer is on bute twice daily, ice packs to jaw, red light and cold hosing the shoulder and hindquarter.

ER vet visit today after Summer got the crap beat out of her by another horse last night. 16 cuts and abrasions and a dozen swollen areas. I stayed up doctoring her and calming her down till 3 am. Today her face and jaw is grossly swollen and she wasn't eating or drinking. Thankfully X-rays and ultrasound did not show any fractures. Thank you Beasley Equine Clinic for making time to see Summer's injuries.
