🐾 INDIE (414 days)🐾

Weekly field trips: 🏢🐾
Loved by a whole business: 💅
Social butterfly: 🦋
Adoption fee: $0

❤️ Being everyone’s favorite… but not yet someone’s dog:

Indie is a female 3.5-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who is wishing to get adopted! Waiting 414 days in a shelter is a very long time to sit around waiting to be adopted. Thankfully, Indie, gets many field trips to an office during business hours. She would be a great work employee if you or your agency is in need of a new supervising paw of approval.🐾

🐾 TAZ🐶

Former mama dog: 🐾👶
Strong, loving, resilient: 💪
Ready to be someone’s baby now: 💕
Adoption fee: $0

❤️ After raising others… finally being chosen:

293 days Taz has been waiting for her perfect family to adopt her. She has watched many dogs come and go and yet she still remains. Taz is a female 2.5-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier who enjoys relaxing. She would love to stay indoors and cuddle on your couch. She would love an adventure here and there, but she would rather snooze on a comfy bed and watch tv with you. Come meet Taz during business hours and maybe take her on a stroll. 🐕

We understand that visiting the vet can be a stressful experience for both cats and caregivers. Our top tips will help reduce some of that stress and anxiety 👇

🐱 Choose a sturdy and secure carrier, place a blanket from home inside for a familiar scent.

🐱 Leave the carrier out at home as an extra bed or safe space, so your cat doesn’t always associate it with leaving.

🐱 Spray the carrier with synthetic feline pheromones at least 15 minutes before putting your cat in it.

🐱 Cover the carrier with a cloth or towel while you are travelling to help keep your cat calm. Rather than holding the carrier by the handle, which can cause it to swing, carry it with both hands from underneath.

🐱 Visit an accredited Cat Friendly Clinic so you know your cat will be handled gently, with respect, and their unique needs will be understood. Find your nearest 👉 https://icatcare.org/cat-friendly-clinic/for-owners-and-caregivers

✔️Protect your dog and public health.
When your dog is leashed, it is easy to know when it does its business and to pick it up or to keep your dog from interacting with another dog's droppings. These are easy ways to prevent the spread of diseases like Giardia, an intestinal parasite common in dogs and easily spread to people. Protect your dog and public health.

Warm weather doesn't just mean sunny days- it can also mean hot pavements and a higher risk of heat stroke for pets. Please remember:

1. Don't leave your pets in the car when it's hot out, even if the windows are cracked.
2. If the pavement is too hot for your own hand, its probably too hot for their little feet!
3. Keep them hydrated with lots of cool water!!! Know the signs of heat stroke, about prevention & what to do.

If your pet is showing signs of heat stroke and you need help, call your local vet immediately.
