Sadly, I have decided to move on from chinchillas. I do still have three moms pregnant and just had two little ones born on the 24th (a light ebony female and a tan male). So i'll have babies for a little while longer yet but once the other babies are born, i'll be slowly selling them all off except maybe one or two pairs.

I've enjoyed having them and caring for all the sweet babies but I am struggling to find time lately.

On July 22nd, I lost my robin. He passed from age but it still hurts all the same. He was 17 years old and I had him his entire life. He was the sweetest, easiest chinchilla I have ever had. I called him my spokesman for chinchillas because anyone could hold him and he would be just a sweet little boy about it. He was tiny, a cute little dwarf but yet such a chunk.
We had him cremated and should get him back some time soon. I miss him so much.

An adorable pink white female that is such a pretty bright white. A Tan female that came out spunky and full of herself! and a light ebony male that is so sweet and passive.

We also have this beautiful ebony white boy! Pictures don't do him justice! He's so silvery and with lots of bright white spots. He's such a funny little guy.

Ebony female (fur chews when stressed)
Chocolate female (needs to be solo, can be aggressive but usually very sweet)

Babies!
We had four tan babies born on the 27th, sadly two passed since then.
We also had two more born yesterday, a tan and a tan white/mosaic. I was certain the mosaic was going to pass right away as she was army crawling instead of walking but she's looking great now!
