Our doctors are available by walk in hours during the week and appointments on Saturdays to try and accommodate everyone's schedule. At Flinn Veterinary Clinic, we welcome you to our family-based practice. Our staff is highly trained to provide the best care for your beloved animals. We provide a variety of services ranging from preventative medicine, treatment for sick patients, bloodwork capabil

ities, radiology, and surgery capabilities. We understand that animals are a big commitment but don't believe that they have to be a huge financial commitment. Our doctors will work with you with multiple different treatment strategies to tailor it each family.

Sorry I didn't get back on here to post sooner but our power is back, so even though we're closing for today, we are back to business as usual. Hope you all get your power back too and that our linemen and first responders are safe. We appreciate their efforts to make life easier for the rest of us, especially when conditions are trying.

We apologize for the inconvenience but due to a medical emergency we will not have a veterinarian available Monday November 17. At this time, we are unsure about Tuesday and Wednesday, so please check for updates. Thank you for your understanding.

We will be switching to new software this week. Please be patient with us over the next few weeks as we are on a learning curve and may be a bit slower getting you checked in and out. Once we get everything up and running, the new software will allow you access to your pet's records, text or e-mail reminders if you prefer those over postcards, efficient communication with other clinics that you might utilize, and minimization of mistakes and wrong information. Thanks for your understanding.

****Parvo*****

There is an outbreak of parvovirus in the area. We have been seeing about 1 new case every day for the past 2 weeks. If your dog is NOT up to date on the parvo vaccine (this means 2 WEEKS after a BOOSTERED vaccine AFTER 16 WEEKS of age) they are at risk and should not be taken anywhere that other dogs go (parks, sidewalks even).

We have been bleaching our building as we diagnose new cases. Symptoms are inappetance, vomiting, diarrhea. If your pet is having any of these symptoms STAY IN YOUR CAR and call the clinic 937-492-3422 to get checked in.
