October 10th is World Mental Health Awareness Day, and as a veterinary team, we want to share something from the bottom of our hearts: your words matter more than you know.
A while back, when our team was unfairly attacked and wrongly accused, we faced one of the most painful, exhausting moments in our practice’s history. Veterinary medicine is deeply personal, and days like that take a heavy toll on the mental health of every doctor, technician, and staff member who pours their soul into caring for your pets.
Then, something extraordinary happened.
Over 500 of you stepped into the comment section. You didn't just defend us—you shared your personal stories, left words of encouragement, and flooded our feed with photos of the beloved animals you’ve trusted us with over the years.
You turned a moment of dark distress into a powerful reminder of why we do this work.
The su***de and burnout rates in the veterinary profession are real, and negative online attacks are one of the biggest drivers pushing skilled, caring people out of the field. But your compassion provided a shield when we needed it most. You kept our spirits up, reminded us of our purpose, and literally helped keep our team going.
To every single person who posted a photo, wrote a kind note, or stood up for us: Thank you. Your kindness wasn't just a simple gesture—it was a lifeline.
Be kind to your vet tech, your receptionist, and your veterinarian today. Your support truly saves lives on both ends of the leash. ❤️ 🐾
