Many of you have been asking about Heather, our head groomer and I wanted to share an update.
Heather has been diagnosed with Acute Myelomonocytic Leukemia (AML) and has already endured weeks of intensive treatment, hospital stays, transfusions, and chemotherapy. The good news is that her doctors are encouraged by her progress and feel she is responding well to treatment. You can read a 2 days ago update on her GoFundMe link below.
While we are incredibly grateful for that progress, Heather’s battle is far from over. This week she returns to the hospital to begin another round of chemotherapy as she continues her fight toward recovery.
For those who know Heather, you know how much she loves her dogs, her work, and our grooming family. She has touched the lives of so many pets and their owners over the years, and now she needs our support.
