We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! I hate to say it but the shop is officially closed. However, if you are in need of essentials like food, water, and some miscellaneous dry goods, we will be in and out of the shop continuing to move the rest of our things out for at least another week or so. You’ll need to contact us to set up an appointment though. Otherwise, you’re likely to miss us.

We still haven’t settled on a permanent location, so we’ll be working from our homes until we do. Bare with us in the meantime. Hopefully things will be back to normal sooner then later. We appreciate you all and we’ll keep you posted of any updates.

Our stay has been extended to January 1st. So it’ll be business as usual for the next month. We haven’t found a new location yet but we appreciate all your suggestions as well as your kind words and support.

For those of you who are not aware, we are located in a historic hotel that has been vacant for many years but was recently purchased. The new owners are currently remodeling it. Unfortunately we’ve been told that our shop doesn’t fit into the new design and that we will need to be out by Dec 1st so that they can start demolition on our part of the building.

This is obviously very sad news for us, especially since James and I alone spent a year pouring our blood, sweat and tears into building nearly everything you see when you visit our shop, including all the acrylic tanks and even running electricity throughout. It’s heartbreaking knowing that it’ll only take them a few days to rip everything out. Not only that, we were also so looking forward to celebrating our 10 year anniversary with you all on February 1st.

We will keep you posted as we search for a new home for Epic Aquaria.

The building that we are located in is currently being remodeled and unfortunately we were forced to close yesterday and today due to an unsafe environment for ourselves and our customers. Hopefully we will be back operational tomorrow. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we will be closed this Saturday March 26th.

We’ve got some awesome fish coming out of quarantine today including an Achilles Tang, a Jumbo Naso Tang, Blue Spotted Jawfish and several gorgeous Fairy and Flasher Wrasses, just to name a few. If you’ve got fish held, you’ll need to get them today or tomorrow or you’ll have to wait till next Thursday. If we don’t see you, we hope everyone has an awesome and safe weekend.

There will be a parade downtown today from 11-4. Unfortunately that means there will be no access to the shop today as the streets have already been closed. So enjoy your weekend and we’ll see you next week.
