So, I did a thing. I gave Link a hair cut. This isnt just any ole hair cut.. This is an awesome hair cut. A clip job. He looks fantastic, and I made sure to tell him that he is handsome no matter what the other kids say. *wink* (I'm sorry Link....)

Honestly, I just really want to see what he looks like under all that baby fur so now instead of impatiently waiting for him to shed out, I'm impatiently waiting for him to grow his hair back.

I'm wondering what will happen first.. grow back his hair or shed out the patches of baby fur that I left?

Look how the shaved area around his brand is coming back in. I cant wait to see this boy all slicked out.

Hal is sold and going to Florida when he is weaned.

One of the things I love about Mojo's foals are the beautiful, refined heads that he throws.

His foals are all around very refined, athletic looking mules. Long legs, nicely proportioned, perfect ears and kind eyes. I have seen my fair share of mules especially from the sale barn - either extremely short backed, or extremely long backed, with big pot bellys, massive d***y heads and even bigger muzzles.. Some I swear look like they've escaped from a Looney Tunes episode! Its obviously not their fault, but Ive made it a point to only have attractive mares with good conformation that would match well with our Mammoth Jack "Mojo."

Breeding isnt just about getting a mule on the ground. There is so, so much more that goes into match making a mare and a jack to produce something worth producing... Lets aim for good looking, usable, desirable animals!

IDK what to tell y'all 🤷🏼‍♀️ Let babies be babies until they're big and harder to deal with. Also, Chip still has personality and is lovable as ever. His wittle baby spirit hasn't been broken ❤️

Went out to get some sale photos of River, the Gypsy Vanner/Appaloosa filly, but unfortunately she likes to hunker down in the tall grass so I will have to try again another day! For now, enjoy these..

I don't post a lot of Mojo in the spring and early summer and this is why... He holds on to his winter coat for quite a while which makes him look pretty grungy. As soon as I can find time to shave him or he sheds out naturally I will get updated photos of this beautiful hunk of a donkey

I understand many of you had your hearts set on Seven, and while it's all part of the gamble and I'm happy she's going to a great home, I am sorry for those who did not end up with her. I listened to many stories and made many new friends through this draw. I hope you will all stick around, keep in touch, and see what we have to offer next year.
