Epic level drool fangs! Elliott has big emotions which makes him undeniably 100% French Bulldog. I think he was trying to impress me. It worked! He is going to be such a great training partner. You see how happy he is just learning the Touch cue. šŸ˜‰

Trainer Tip - if you want an enjoyable leashed walk with your dog, it’s best to let them be a dog that sniff and roll and rub versus a frustrating fixed controlled heel. This walk is for them. 🫶

Please get ready for pets to wonder why the windows are shaking and what is that BOOM! Blue Angels begin practice on Thursday with performance’s Friday through Sunday. Typically if you are between Boeing Field and Greenlake you may get a very noisy scare. North of Seattle is the best choice for fearful pets. šŸ™

It’s the Boom Boom Day!

Here are some final tips for the 4th of July.

It’s a mild lovely weather, go for a big sniffy walk! Yep, put your shoes on and get your dog out there. Do it now. And again this afternoon.

Stay home tonight to comfort your dog.

Take a siesta nap so you can stay up late with your dog.

Close the windows and drapes.

Have a quiet safe place to setup with fans cranked up. Pass it on!

Play loud music and TV.

Sing song happy stuff about the stupid fireworks.

Make the last pawty break by 9pm and use a leash, just in case.

Be safe everyone and thanks for taking care of your animals! Pass it on

Are feeling ready to help your pet through a very rough 250th Birthday Independence Day. You have stuffed Kongs in the freezer, delicious chews, fans and calming music setup in the quiet ā€œcomfy zoneā€, lots of sniffy exercise planned out. Of course ask me for advice if you’re feeling unprepared.
Stats don’t lie, this is a frequent time for dogs to run away. Even your dog could be so scared they run. Believe me, even your dog. Do you have your phone number on the collar? Go get one today if not. Super fast & cheap! Only 1 dog I’ve found had a working phone number on his collar and I had him home in minutes. Let me know how else I can help and share this with all your friends. šŸ™šŸ¼

Does your dog FREAK when the boom-boom starts? Shaking, super drool and/or refusal to eat, or worse? Be kind and call your Vet TONIGHT for prescribed anti-anxiety meds. There is no reason your animal should feel such terror and it’s the humane thing to do. Reminder; those obnoxious fireworks usually start a day or 2 before the organized event.
