Such an important charity. Please donate what you can. You never know when you and your beloved furry family will need this support.
Remember Ares? Monday, he got a pup cup at his dad's favorite coffee stand.
That might sound like a small thing but a few weeks ago both of them were facing pretty serious health issues.
Ares came to us while his dad went into heart surgery. While in our care Ares developed a serious complication from his neuter surgery and needed emergency care of his own.
Those deep blue eyes that charm everyone Ares meets? They were waiting on Monday, looking up at the person who calls him "the most important thing in my life except maybe my grandkids."
Another successful reunion.
Here is where we need your help. Like Ares, with his blood disorder, many of the pets in our Foster Boarding Program need expensive veterinary care that their people can not afford. Without your support, his dad would have faced an impossible choice to let his dog go from his hospital bed.
We said yes. Yes to keeping Ares out of the shelter. Yes to life saving care. Yes to an option that allowed his dad to receive life saving care.
Our 365 Nights of Safety campaign ends October 15th. In the past two days you have given an amazing $2,500 to help close our fundraising gap but we still have $8,500 to go. Every dollar means we can continue to say yes when someone calls us in a moment of crisis.
Donate link is in the comments.
If you can't give today, please share this post. Let more people meet Ares and his dad. That is how we keep saying yes.
