Humane Society building at 9562 Route 322 in Shippenville, Pennsylvania. We are a NO KILL facility which can accommodate approximately 20 cats and a maximum of 23 dogs. We are committed to helping the cats and dogs of our area through adoptions, spay/neuter programs, and the education of pet owners and community members. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

A day in our shelter involves a lot of feeding, cleaning, loving and, yes, paperwork! Even with all the wonderful adoptions recently, our rescue continues to be at capacity, so it's that time when we must ask for your help.

Donations can be shipped directly to us (9562 Route 322, Shippenville, PA 16254) or dropped off anytime. If no one is at the rescue, please feel free to leave the items at the front door. Thank you for always supporting and loving our adoptables🐾❤️

28 Cats are off to get spayed and neutered today! Thank you to all of the responsible people who are contributing to reducing over population. And thank you Allegheny Spay and Neuter Clinic/Animal Welfare Council of the Alleghenies for hosting these clinics. Our next dates are Thursday, October 15th and Saturday, October 24th.

Everyone who submitted applications for our cat spay/neuter clinic this Thursday, Sept 3rd, has been contacted. We still have a few spots left. If you are interested please contact 814-913-2264. Please text your name and how many male or female spots you need. Information for the clinic is below:

Drop off is 6am at Tri-County Animal Rescue Center
Pick up will be between 3-5.
Cost is 65 for neuter and 80 for spay
Additional services are available for an extra charge.

Briar says she doesnt mind being mistaken for her predecessors, and enjoys surprising people who know the famous multi-colored-eye duo!

Briar is a very sweet, perfectly energetic and loyal companion who is certain to brighten your day!! She is a beautiful, young female Husky(?) mix who was found as a stray, and went unclaimed. She loves people & greets everyone with a wagging tail and a hug. True to her mix, she has a fun, happy energy and loves playtime. She already walks well on a lead, making her the perfect walking partner or hiking partner. Briar appears house trained and is spayed and current on vaccines. If your looking for a loyal sidekick to curl up with after a fun day Briar is your girl🌹
