Say hi to Harley and Chunk everyone! These two were such a delight to have visit with us ❤️! Harley was like our shadow and followed us around everywhere and Chunk spent most of his days sniffing out the yard. Can’t wait to have them back 😊

One of my favorite parts of this job is getting to know so many different personalities. ❤️

Some dogs make friends the moment they arrive. Some want to explore every inch of the yard. Some just want to soak up the shade under our big oak tree. And some spend the whole stay with a smile on their face.

Every one of them has their own little quirks, and we genuinely love getting to know them.

Seeing these happy faces is a reminder of why we started Dogfather Inn in the first place: to create a place where dogs can feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their families are away.

This post has been overdue, but with the recent news of sweet Ghost’s passing, we figured it was finally time.

This is a memorial post remembering the sweet dogs we’ve lost over the last 12 months. One of the hardest parts of what we do is growing close to so many dogs, welcoming them into our family and our hearts, and then receiving the heartbreaking news from their owners that they’ve passed away.

Ghost, Chunk, Jax, Smokey, and Jade — you were all such incredible dogs. We loved you like you were our own, and we know you were deeply loved and will be greatly missed by your families. We are so grateful for the memories we were able to make with each of you.

We will miss you. You will never be forgotten. You will always have a place in our hearts. 💔
