Last minute show!! This weekend! 😳
You'll find us here at the St. Louis Show me reptile show on Sunday!
It's been a while since we've been here so we're looking forward to it. Just gotta bust out behinds a little more to get more products ready for the show but we'll be there with our NLD racks and enclosures!

Besides the mess we are good!!
The water has obviously receded and now just looks like we had a bad storm.
The town is projected to open tomorrow so people can get back to their homes.
We were finally able to get back into the shop to get some much needed work done.
God has definitely answered prayers and kept watch over us. 🙏

UPDATE
We can now see some grass again along the side of the garage! The water has gone down quite a bit since Friday night. It's very encouraging but we still have a ways to go, BUT..... We're all on our way.
Those who live in town aren't able to return to their homes just yet. There's a long check list that needs to be gone through and a process for a safe return. It'll be soon though!

We really appreciate all the support, love and prayers 🙏 it means so much to us. 💕

But! We survived the storms and they were not as bad as they were originally perceived 💕

News is that the river has not risen since last night!!!

Now we wait for it to go down 🙏💕 I think we've made it through the worst of it.
It is cold today, low 40s is the high. There are still sand bags being stacked and people walking through the water in other towns, we all still can use the prayers. These little towns have a long road ahead of them 🙏

Sorry.... I forgot to update here.
This was the situation this morning around 8am.
Part of the sand bag wall fell in sometime at night so it didn't make much difference :-/ BUT.... We were able to get a couple of pumps to help things along. We have one behind the wall pumping out the water between the house and the sand bag wall and one in our crawl space to pump that water out.

We believe the house will be fine, we just have to make it through the storms tonight 🙏

We are still doing fine, thank you all! We have electricity still and hopefully will throughout and after the storm.

The river was projected to crest this morning at 15.1 ft but it has continued to rise and should crest tomorrow.
At that time it will level out for a couple of days then slowly recede. It will be a while before we are in the clear but it'll be nice to see the water go down!

We appreciate the prayers 🙏 and hoping to see the silver lining soon 💕

Update: we are now surrounded by water. Last night it rose to our driveway and in front of our garage. It isn't in the house but it will be a matter of time for that. Praying it slows down or even recedes 🙏 before we get another storm tomorrow. It is expected to crest Friday and start going down Monday/Tuesday

It has reached our steps....
We were able to get most of our personal property up off the ground in the garage and what we could, in the shop. We have also prepped our house in case it does make it's way in the house. Couch off the floor, carpets/rugs up. What we can is off the ground.

It's supposed to rise another 12" inches or so. We should be ok but if it's any more we won't be :-/
we still have power but from what we've heard they do plan on shutting it off. Hopefully we can find a gas station nearby that's open so we can keep our generator going when we need it. 🙏 Keep'em coming. We appreciate you all 💕

We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers as we navigate our current situation with the flooding in our area. Unfortunately it's inevitable at this point and will happen. We're just trying to figure out the best way to handle it and save what we are able too. There are many that are worse off than we are and I know they definitely could use the prayers.
