Shasta Shepherds

Well… this wasn’t exactly the plan for today 😂🐾

I originally went to help out my club members and brought Taya along to be the neutral dog for the testing. Somehow, my club members talked me into entering both Taya and Savage too… and they both ended up earning all three ribbons! 🏅🏅🏅

Today they completed:

• Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
• Advanced Canine Good Citizen (CGCA)
• Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU)

Not a bad day for two dogs who weren’t even supposed to be testing. 😂❤️

So proud of Taya and Savage!

Taya and Savage passed some tests today and earned some ribbons at Howl Hundesport Club Canine Good Citizen
Advanced Canine Good Citizen
Urban Canine Good Citizen Taya was just supposed to be the neutral dog for the tests, but with a little peer pressure from my awesome friends and club members, we decided to do it, because why not. Now back to IGP2 training with Savage!

Some clips from our Protection at our attempt at IGP2 last weekend. 81 Points. My handler error cost us the blind search exercise, but I learned so much from this experience. Thank you so much .train.dogs and for all you have done for us. Video by

Some clips from our obedience from our attempt at IGP2 last weekend. 89 points. Savage gave it everything he had that day. After being under heavy sedation the day before from a foxtail in his right nostril I believe he was missing a little of that spark he would normally have, so I am extremely proud of him. Video by

If a photo can capture emotion, I really feel like Parisa T’Kanchi 📷 nailed it with this photo today of Savage working with Tim Cutterson as we prepare for IGP2 next weekend!

Happy 8th Birthday to the sweetest girl Taya! She is the most incredible dog, and just as beautiful on the inside as the outside. You make everyday a great day, and we love you so much!
