Let's talk muzzles!
Muzzles come in many different shapes, styles, and sizes, and have a variety of purposes. Some dogs...
🪨 Eat stuff off the ground
💩 Like da poopies
🐕 Don't like strange dogs
👨‍👩‍👧 Don't like strange people
⚠️ Have an emergency (car accident, injury etc.)

When you see a muzzled dog out in public, what is your first thought? For most people it's "Oh that dog must be aggressive!" And that's not always the case. Next time you see a muzzled pup, take a moment and watch the handler and dog. Or better yet, take the time to ask the owner and learn about why they use a muzzle. Most are happy to educate!

The style of muzzle shown here is a basket muzzle. It is the most comfortable for long term wear and use. A properly sized muzzle allows for full pant room, so the dog can eat and drink while wearing it.

Our personal demo dog and lovely model Fin here, doesn't like dogs he does not know right in his face. At a distance, they're no bother to him. But while out in public and doing large group activities, a muzzle keeps everyone safe.

We want to thank Kellie Prowse Photography for these incredible photos of Fin sporting his Big Snoof Dog Gear muzzle, and Lizas Gear custom vest

When we're just messing around at home, we do our own sound effects 🤣
Training isn't always serious, and it doesn't always look pretty, but we're having fun 💙

From nine week photos to six months, time sure flies. We love getting to see it all captured through the lens of a camera. He may be a Chocolate Lab but he sure can be sour sometimes just like his lemon lollipop 🍭🍋😂
