Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary C.A.T.S. is A non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to keeping all of our community cats out of harm's way, both physically and medically. Check it out!

The Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary is a non-profit, 501c3 organization dedicated to keeping all of our community cats out of harm's way, both physically and medically. While we do adopt cats to homes, we are a Sanctuary-we have many residents in our care that may not be adoptable-but they deserve shelter, food, and warm blankets. Every cat deserves a place to call home, even if our Sanctuary isn't a "traditional" home, it's home to them. We will work together with other cat rescues to ensure the health and well-being of the animals in our care. Every cat that has been in our care remains a Cat Alliance Team Sanctuary cat. If someone adopts from us and finds they can no longer care for that cat, we will gladly accept the cat back. We run on a lot of love, a little luck, and donations from our awesome supporters. 💔DC UPDATE 💔
Bloodwork showed very low white and red blood cells. Something else was too high. This suggested whatever it was was in his bone marrow.
DC was anemic and almost septic. This all together suggested FIP, leukemia( late stage onset) or cancer. Causing his mouth flare up problem suddenly.
I held him as he crossed, told him he was a wonderful boy and we all hoped he was happy at the sanctuary these last few years.

We're at Bridgetown Emergency Vet with 11 year-old DC today😿
Yesterday morning he had a lot of bloody drool. We thought oh no! He needs a dental asap! We started him on antibiotics and this morning old man DC was sneezy, snotty, goopy eyes - full blown URI and a fever of 104°.
They will do some x-rays to see if it's pneumonia
He hasn't eaten in 2 days so here we are.
DC is friendly and easy to medicate thank goodness.
Estimate is over $1100
We really need some help with this bill please🐾

Gigi had 7 teeth removed and is eating some kibble now(6 days after)
Curtsie has a much better prognosis and only has a very mild case of stomatitis.
Thank you everyone for helping the kitties.

I'm in Nehalem today with 5 kitties!!
🖤GiGi is a pretty 8 yr old semi-feral. She is having a dental today plus rabies and fvrcp vaccines.
🤍Curtsie is only 3 years and needed a checkup for stomatitis and pododermatitis. Turns out she may not actually have either. There is some gum irritation and 1 paw pad is a little flaky. Hopefully she can have a relatively normal cat life❣I thoroughly believe in second opinions if warranted!
🐾 Bandit and Chicken are 6 and 7 years. Just here for vaccine updates😼
🤎 Tiny Olive came from Karmen's house.
No chip, no file. She's getting her rabies, fvrcp and a snap test. She dearly loves Churus😻
I'm also picking up a couple prescription meds.

If anyone could assist with today's vet bill the kitties and our CATS team would dearly appreciate your help.

Today was a vet run to Nehalem 💕
🧡Merry our timid, orange semi-feral had some concerning facial swelling. She ended up having "bad, bad" teeth and needed 5 removed. Fortunately her wonky eye is a previous injury ( been healed up for several years) and not a problem😳 She had her rabies vaccine too.
🖤Stormy (our black fluffy)was recently returned due to adopter's serious health concerns😢 Looks like stress shedding but she is healthy and also got her rabies vaccine updated.
🍚Pearl our last foster kitten was spayed and chipped today. She sang the whole way to the coast but is happy to be back with mama💕
