What happens when our admissions team gets a call about 6 kittens needing a home?
1. We run around in circles with excitement.
2. We take each individual kitten through our extensive fear-free admissions exam process to make sure they are safe and sound.
3. If any of the kittens need further medical treatment our onsite veterinary staff creates a specialized treatment plan.
4. We call our incredible foster Sammy and say “YOU WANT BABIES” and then she says “YAS.”
5. We take a billion photos because 💗🥰😻🐈🐾😽🙃

Our Foster program is one of the many incredible resources CAT has to offer. If you want to learn more about CAT’s foster program or you’re interested in becoming a foster, comment “foster” and we will send you a link for more information!

Remember when we shared that our amazing CAT staff members, Simon and Dania, were heading off to Veterinary School this fall? Well, it’s official! They have officially kicked off their programs with their White Coat Ceremonies! 🎉

We are incredibly proud of them, and several members of our CAT team showed up to cheer them on in person. 🐾❤️ While we will miss them around the shelter, we can't wait to see their veterinary futures unfold.

Join us in wishing a massive congratulations to Simon and Dania! 🎓🐱

Happy It's time you met Strawberry.

This laid-back 3-year-old cat enjoys the calmer things in life: a quiet home, soft beds, and calm humans to call her own. Strawberry takes her time to get comfortable in a new environment, but once she does, she's a wonderful companion. In her foster home, she loves chin scratches and makes everybody laugh when she gets the zoomies and races around the house. Most of the time, she just wants to curl up in a cat bed or on a soft blanket with the people she trusts.

Does this sound like a good fit for you?

Find out more about Strawberry and apply to adopt her on our website today:

We're hiring for two positions right meow:

🧡 Veterinarian
Our ideal candidate has high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) experience, enjoys feline dental procedures, and is excited about practicing medicine with a skilled team of Fear Free Certified veterinary paraprofessionals. This is a high-volume, team-based environment, so we’re looking for a veterinarian who can lead, delegate, and maximize the skills of the entire medical team. The ability to prioritize effectively, make sound medical decisions, and keep patients moving through a busy hospital is essential. Shelter medicine experience is a plus, but a passion for cats, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care are what matter most.

This is a full-time, salaried position with weekday, daytime hours with expected start date in mid-October 2026. Our veterinarians enjoy a predictable schedule while working in a unique environment where every day brings the opportunity to improve the lives of cats.

🧡 Shelter Operations Director
Looking for an opportunity to put your leadership skills to work for cats and people? Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is seeking an experienced Shelter Operations Director to lead our shelter and community programs.

In this role, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary department of approximately 17 employees through three direct-report managers and program leaders. You’ll oversee animal care, admissions, adoptions, foster care, volunteer engagement, customer service, behavior and enrichment, staffing, and departmental budgets. As a member of CAT’s senior leadership team, you’ll also help turn organizational goals into effective operations and collaborate across departments to keep cats moving safely and efficiently through our programs.
