Life sure can be interesting! We just welcomed back Snowflake from the Christmas Litter. She went from a gray and white fluff ball to a gorgeous clone of her mother. She might have the coat of many colors, but she is still sweet as can be . She is going to hangout with the crew for a while as we get caught up on shots and learn a few more doggie manners. I couldn’t pronounce her name so she has been deemed Misty. This girl is a character, so stayed tuned for some fun husky videos.

There comes a day in every Breeder‘s life where you lose a puppy in a litter.  The the hardest part for me is having to take that that baby away from It’s mama. She knows it’s hers. She knows something is wrong but she is going do everything she can to keep it protected and warm, even though it’s gone . Malibu had a litter of three pups on Friday and we lost one of them at birth and a second one last night. We have a healthy happy third baby, but my heart is heavy with the feeling that I let Mom down.
