Friendly reminder that Janssen Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
We hope that everyone enjoys a safe and happy holiday.
As always, one of our wonderful Equine Veterinarians will be on call to see equine emergencies for current patients. Should an emergency arise while we are away please call 317-758-4865 and follow the prompts for help.
We look forward to seeing everyone again Tuesday, September 8th at 8am!

Authorities are reporting horse and human cases of West Nile Virus in Indiana. The virus goes through a process of amplification during the mosquito season meaning weā€™re more likely to see cases at the end of the summer. Please make sure your horses are up to date on their WNV vaccination!

Our veterinarians love to learn as much as they love to teach! JVC as a clinic has a passion and deduction to education in all facets. Dr Lydia Mudd got to spend a few days in Lexington attending the Equine Spine Initiativeā€™s 4th annual symposium which focused on topics including head/skull pathology, spine and pelvic disease, and muscle disorders of the axial body. Weā€™re excited for her to come back and share what sheā€™s learned so our entire equine team can stay up to date on these important topics.
