Stray to Service is our nonprofit program led by the professional trainers at All Around K-9. Our program provides specialized service dog training not only for veterans but any and all individuals with a wide range of needs, from physical impairments to PTSD.
Lola is our most recent Stray to Service graduate! Through her training, she now assists her owner, who has Cerebral Palsy, with daily tasks such as providing physical support while walking or standing and retrieving specific items.

Country Pet Inn is a dedicated training/ boarding facility committed to providing exceptional care for pets. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Kennel Technician to join our team and ensure the well-being of the animals in our care.

The Kennel Technician is responsible for the daily care, cleaning, and maintenance of our kennel facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all animals. This role requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Feed, water, and monitor the health and behavior of dogs
- Sanitize kennels, runs, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff.
- Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns to superiors
-Lawncare/snow removal, making sure facilities are clean and tidy for guests
- Assist clients with drop-off and pick-up of their pets, providing excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety protocols and facility policies to ensure animal and staff safety.

**Qualifications:**
- Must be 18 years or older
-Must have Reliable vehicle-Preferably 4WD
-Ability to follow instructions as well as work independently
-Must have good problem solving skills
- Previous experience working with animals (e.g., kennel, shelter, or veterinary setting) is a plus but not required.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle animals safely and calmly, we are a working dog kennel and experience many dogs from all walks of life will all types of behaviors
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
- A genuine passion for animal care and welfare.

We would like to inform you that we have recently experienced several drop-off cancellations due to dogs contracting kennel cough, which appears to be circulating in the area. To ensure the health and safety of all dogs in our care, we kindly request that you monitor your pet for any symptoms of kennel cough. If your dog is displaying any signs, we ask that you cancel your reservation. Please note that we will not be providing any services for dogs exhibiting symptoms, as our primary priority is maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all pets in our facility.

Currently, we are monitoring the dogs in our care, and have not had any signs or symptoms of kennel cough in our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding!
