✦ Meet Tootsie! Tootsie is estimated to be a 1 year old Cattle Dog mix. She is a high energy, happy little ball of sunshine, and chaos. She is a very sweet dog who knows no strangers, though she is still working on her manners and can be a bit over eager when saying hello. Tootsie is incredibly smart and already knows “Sit,” “down,” and potentially “Heel,” though she will need a patient owner who can set firm boundaries to help her kick some of her more mischievous habits. She absolutely loves playing with tennis balls and toys, but since she can be a bit possessive of her favorites, she would do best as in a home where she can work on sharing.
✦ Say hello to Cheech and Chong. These boys are estimated to be about 1 year old and yes, they are named after the famous duo! These handsome brothers came to the shelter semi-feral. With a lot of time and patience, they are slowly learning to trust humans. They are a bonded pair and must go to a home together. Cheech is the bolder of the pair and Chong is still a bit timid. They have slowly become more comfortable during their stay here, but new people and places are still frightening. These boys need lots of time and patience when getting adjusted. We think that makes them extra special! Cheech and Chong will practically beg for wet food, so that is a perfect training and enriching tool.
