Our project manager came and checked out the progress on what will turn into our training facility! We are far from opening it to the public, but slowly but surely making progress.

🐾 A Quick Dusty Tracks Update 🐾

I don’t share a lot of personal stuff on here, but I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that I’ll be having a quick surgery on September 9th.

As of right now, I’ll be closing my books September 9th–16th to give myself some time to heal and recover.

Because of this, there will be no Free Training Day on Thursday, September 10th.

I’m hoping to be back and see everyone for Free Day on Thursday, September 17th, but that will depend on how healing goes. I’ll keep everyone updated as we get closer!

Thank you for understanding and for giving me a little time to take care of myself. ❤️

🐾 **FREE Training Days Are Back!** 🐾

Starting **September 3rd**, our free community training days are back with a new schedule!

📅 **Every Thursday**
🕕 **6:00 PM**
💲 **Completely FREE**

Each week we’ll meet at different parks, pet friendly stores, and public locations around the Billings area for a group working session.

Bring your dog, your training gear, plenty of rewards, and an idea of what you’d like to work on. Obedience, neutrality, confidence, engagement, distraction work, or simply getting your dog out in a new environment — it’s all welcome!

📍 **Weekly locations will be announced ahead of time.**

📢 Free Training Day Schedule Update 📢

We have a schedule change for our FREE Training Days!

There will be no Free Training Days during the month of August.

Beginning Thursday, September 3rd, our Free Training Days will move to Thursday evenings.

This change allows me to continue pursuing additional training and professional development while still offering a free opportunity for everyone to get together and train each week.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support. I'm excited to see everyone back in September!

☀️ Free Training Day Update ☀️
After looking at the forecast, we've decided to cancel this week's Free Training Day due to the extreme heat.
Even though we do much of our training indoors, the safety of our dogs and handlers comes first. We don't want anyone traveling in dangerous temperatures or spending unnecessary time outside before or after class.
The forecast is looking much more promising for next week, and we're hopeful we'll be back to training then!

To our Dusty Tracks family,

After a great deal of thought, I have made the difficult decision that, effective immediately, Dusty Tracks Dog Training will no longer be offering Board & Train or boarding services.

This was not a decision I made lightly. It has truly been a privilege to care for your dogs, watch them grow, and earn your trust over the years. Being a part of their lives has meant more to me than I can put into words, and I am incredibly grateful to every family who allowed me that opportunity.

While this chapter is coming to an end, Dusty Tracks Dog Training is not going away. I will continue offering private lessons, group classes, AKC evaluations, and other training services. My commitment to helping dogs and their owners succeed remains as strong as ever.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for trusting me with your dogs. I look forward to continuing to work with many of you in new ways.
