So, who are we? 🐾

We’re Chelsea & Alisha, the sisters behind Bless Your Paws – Southern Pup Parlor here in Shelbyville.

We’re a family-run grooming business, and we’ve put a lot of heart into creating a salon that feels a little different. We keep things calm, give each dog individual attention, and try to make their time here as comfortable as possible.

We especially love working with dogs who may need a little extra patience — nervous dogs, seniors, sensitive dogs, or those who just aren’t big fans of being groomed. Every dog is different, and we believe in meeting them where they are rather than rushing them through an appointment.

Of course, we want your pup to leave looking their best, but just as important to us is how they feel while they’re here. ❤️

We’re thankful for every family who has trusted us with their dogs and supported our little business along the way.

Kevin is such a true gentleman! He always has the sweetest, calmest personality, and he sure knows how to work the camera. 😂

I think Kevin definitely deserves the title of Most Distinguished Gentleman around here! 🏆

🐾 PUPPY WEEK! 🐾

We’ve had THREE sweet puppies come through the shop this week, and we are absolutely loving all the puppy cuddles! 🥹💕

From first grooms to those adorable little puppy faces, these babies have kept us smiling all week long. 🐶✨

We might be a little puppy obsessed around here… okay, very puppy obsessed. 😂💗

Our favorite part of every groom is seeing a happy, beautifully trimmed pup reunited with the people who love them most.❤️🐾

This sweet doodle girl was all smiles after her spa day, and I couldn't resist snapping a photo of her soaking up some love from my niece. Around here, dogs aren't treated like appointments—they're treated like family.

Huge congratulations to Krystal on completing her grooming apprenticeship! 🎉🐾

Becoming a groomer takes so much more than just loving dogs (which she very obviously does!). It takes countless hours of hands-on practice, a willingness to learn, patience, determination, and the drive to keep improving every single day. Krystal has put in the work, asked questions, accepted challenges, and continued showing up to sharpen her skills.

Watching her grow throughout this journey has been such a privilege, and I'm incredibly proud of what she's accomplished. Graduation isn't the finish line—it's the beginning of an exciting career, and I can't wait to see where it takes her.

Congratulations, Krystal! Thank you for all the hard work you've put in. I'll always be cheering you on and am happy to support you however I can as you continue building your career. Wishing you nothing but success in this next chapter! ❤️✂️🐶
