The name “Satan” itself does not appear here at all, but the fallen angels story was soon to be linked up with passages involving the angelic adversary (“satan”) in the Hebrew Bible, as we begin to see in the likes of Jubilees (chapters 10-11; c. 150-105 BCE). Still later (in the second and third centuries CE), this notion of fallen angels would also be linked up (by Christian authors) with a passage that originally referred to the Babylonian king as cosmic rebel in Isaiah 14, the “Day Star, Son of Dawn” who falls from heaven (where he imagines himself to belong). Part of the phrase just mentioned was translated into Latin by Jerome (in 410 CE) as “Lucifer”. Looking far ahead to the 1600s, it would be hard to imagine Milton’s Paradise Lost without the story of Satan or Lucifer as the chief rebel angel who fell from heaven’s height.

The character of Satan does not appear in 1 Enoch aside from the Book of Parables, which was the latest portion of the compilation to be written (dating to the late first century BCE or the early first century CE). Shemihazah and Asael are the angelic antagonists of the Book of Watchers (third century BCE). The book of Jubilees from the second century BCE was heavily influenced by the Book of Watchers and there the chief antagonist and leader of the demons was named Mastema, but in 10:8-11 Mastema was identified as Satan. In the Book of Parables, Satan appears in 1 Enoch 53:3 as an angel of punishment and in 54:6, 65:6 the name refers to a malicious angel. In 54:6 Satan appears to refer to Az**el (= Asael), for the abyss of judgment was being prepared for the host of Az**el, "and Michael and Raphael and Gabriel and Phanuel will take hold of them on that great day, and throw them on that day into the burning furnace, that the Lord of Spirits may take vengeance on them, for their unrighteousness in becoming servants of Satan, and leading astray those who dwell on the earth".

The imprisonment and end-time fate of this fallen angel here resembles the fate of “the ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan” in John’s Apocalypse (20:1-10), as we shall soon see. As in other apocalyptic writings, the flood of long ago becomes a precursor or foreshadow of God’s final intervention in the end times, the “great day of judgment”, when the angels who rebelled, along with the humans who sided with them by doing evil, will meet their end. The righteous ones, on the other hand, will go on to live in a new world cleansed “from all sin and from all iniquity” (see 10:17-22).

How does the book of Enoch fit into the essene conception of Satan found in the dead sea scrolls?
The book of Enoch is found in the dead sea scrolls. In it are found a list of evil angels, Az**el who is called responsible for all sin, samyaza who is called their leader and several others.

Az**el and samyaza show up once or twice more in the dead sea scrolls but in small fragmented texts.

For the most part the essene Satan was refered to as "beliar" whose alternate titles are the prince of darkness and Melchiresa who functions as the antithesis to the figure Melchizedek.

What I don't see any overlap of (unless I missed it) is the concept of Satan found between texts that include samyaza, Az**el etc and include the term beliar. Are these texts unrelated to each other? Is beliar some other figure that's in the same cosmology Or is there something I missed that ascribes the beliar figure to be one of the fallen angels from Enoch.

Why haven't I seen the Enoch angels and beliar in the same book at once?

If someone consistently leaves you feeling exhausted, foggy, or diminished, pay attention. That isn’t love or compatibility — it’s emotional extraction. Protecting your energy isn’t selfish. It’s survival.

Energy vampires only use others as their scapegoat and are nothing more then human leeches who feeds off your emotional or psychic energy. People who display energy vampire traits generally lack empathy, consideration, and/or emotional maturity. As a result of the pain or insecurity they feel inside, energy vampires are addicted to preying on the vitality of others as an attempt to heal their inner suffering.
Essentially, an energy vampire could be anyone such as a friend, family member, colleague, acquaintance, child, son or daughter, or even a romantic partner. If you’re a highly empathetic and caring person, it’s also possible to actively attract energy vampires into your life. Unfortunately, if you’re a highly sensitive person who doesn’t know how to set boundaries, it’s quite likely that you’re already surrounded by energy vampires left, right, and center.
Energy vampires are attracted to you because they unconsciously desire to resolve a deeper problem within their psyches — and they perceive YOU as the solution to their problems.
