American Safety American Safety Utility Corporation was formed in 1982 in Forest City, NC. We are dedicated to providing the finest quality lineman tools & equipment.

We are dedicated to providing the finest quality lineman tools, lineman equipment and other utility supplies available and extending to our customers the personal touch that is synonymous with quality. As we broadened our product line of occupational protective equipment and related tools we also had to expand. In October 1984, American Safety was relocated to a larger facility in Shelby, NC. In 1

991, we had grown too large for the facility we were in and the current corporate headquarters was built. The building consists of 40,000 square feet and over 30 employees. American Safety ships products all around the United States and the world. American Safety has a certified NAIL for PET (North American Independent Laboratories for Protective Equipment Testing) rubber goods testing lab. American Safety has one of the quickest turnarounds of rubber goods testing which, in most cases, is ten days. Each rubber good that is tested is washed, tested, hand and visually inspected and dated. Each employee of American Safety puts pride in their work and the safety of our clients is the first and foremost most important goal. American Safety has an in-house repair facility that also builds jumpers and grounds and tests and certifies hotsticks and shotgun sticks. American Safety's certified repair specialists are able to repair Streamlight rechargeable lights, Burndy products, Greenlee/Fairmont products, hoists, hydraulic tools, fiberglass sticks and poles, collapsible reels and much more. We are able to re-certify many products; hoists, grounds & jumpers, and hotsticks. American Safety builds custom jumpers and grounds. We have a wide variety of heads and cables to choose from. Next day and two day services are available.

The American Safety High voltage test lab in NC received new testing equipment this morning. We continue to grow and upgrade our testing equipment to better serve our customers. The Florida test lab will receive new equipment in Florida tomorrow morning.

Team American Safety Florida celebrated our Christmas party today at The Venue at Lineman Ranch, and what an incredible group of people. I truly appreciate each and every one of you—your dedication, hard work, and heart are what make American Safety so special.

Our American Safety North Carolina team celebrated their company Christmas party yesterday. I sure missed being there, but please know how proud I am of each of you as well.
