Meet little Lyla! 🐾
This sweet girl is currently crushing her Puppy Start Right board-and-train program! Laura has been hard at work cultivating her basic foundation and putting in the practice with her core obedience—working on sits, downs, place work, reliable recalls, and building up that super important impulse control.
Building these clear habits early makes all the difference as puppies grow up!
Interested in laying a strong foundation for your own pup? Give us a call at Angel Dog Training to chat about our program options! 🐶✨

Does your dog go from zero to one hundred the moment they spot another dog? 😤 The lunging, the barking, the pulling — it looks intense, but it's almost always rooted in anxiety or over-excitement, not true aggression. With the right approach, reactive dogs make incredible progress. We've seen it over and over. Ready for calmer walks? Send us a message! 🐾

You turn your back for two seconds and your dinner disappears. 🍗 Counter surfing makes total sense from your dog's point of view — they found food up there once, so they'll keep checking. We teach dogs that the counter is off-limits, no matter how good it smells. Consistent, clear, and it actually works. Questions? Send us a message! 🐾

Every time the doorbell rings, your house turns into absolute chaos. 🔔 Jumping, barking, rushing the door — exhausting, and honestly a little embarrassing when guests arrive. Door manners are 100% trainable. We work with dogs to build a calm, controlled response every time someone comes to the door. Let's fix it! Send us a message. 🐾

You say 'come' and your dog looks up… then goes right back to sniffing. 🌿 A reliable recall isn't just a nice trick — it can literally save your dog's life. This is one of the most important skills we teach, and one of the most rewarding to watch click into place. Imagine calling your dog and having them sprint back to you every single time. That's the goal. Have questions? Send us a message! 🐾

Does every walk feel like a workout you didn't sign up for? 🐕‍🦺 When your dog is dragging you down the street, walks stop being enjoyable — for both of you. The good news: loose leash walking is one of the most trainable skills out there. It's not about force. It's about teaching your dog that staying close to you is the best place to be. Ready to enjoy your walks again? Send us a message — we'd love to help! 🐾

Working relationship and obedience aren't just about the professional reps—they’re about the connection. It’s been a little while since Laura worked with Cairo, so seeing him step right back in, focus up, and have fun with both of us out heading to the building and back inside the house is a great reminder of what a solid foundation does.
Basic obedience like clean centers and steady heels isn't just routine; it's the glue that keeps the teamwork strong. Love seeing this boy thrive.
