I want you guys to meet someone….
This little cuties name is Willow.

Believe it or not she has crippling anxiety when her mom leaves. She’s typically boarded in the past but the last time mom picked her up she was pretty sick because of the stress and anxiety of being away from home. Even the best boarding facility can be such a stressful situation for you dog.

She reached out to us to try in-home visits and Brittany went to meet with her for an initial meet n greet and went back again to see how she would do once Mom was gone and she did fantastic!

She did great for her first couple of visits after mom did leave town, and then I think she realized that something was really up and Mom was gone for a while - she took a few steps backwards but with some time and patience, she made another turnaround!

If you ask me, this video is proof that sometimes dogs really do belong in their own environment, setting and with a professional and passionate pet sitter! Someone who knows how to handle some dogs with some hurdles or anxiety.
Someone who is going to take the time to really try to make the dog comfortable while their humans are away.
Someone who is going to know exactly what to do when a dog does start to display some issues and won’t let you get close to them…

It may be cheaper to have the kid next-door do it, but sometimes you really need to have someone else involved - especially if your dog has anxiety or any other types of issues…… 

But also, what if an emergency happens? Is the kid next-door going to know what to do? Are they going to be able to drop what they’re doing to take your dog to the nearest emergency clinic? Are they going to even catch on if something is wrong and devise a good and solid plan?

There are so many “hobby sitters” out there these days. Every time I see a post on Facebook of someone looking for that service, 95% of the comments are from people who are not licensed, insured, and not experienced. It is so much more than putting food in a bowl and taking to potty. It is also a huge liability when you enter someone’s home and personal possessions.

Our pets and our homes are two of the most precious things in our life so sometimes it’s worth the extra money to make sure at the end of the day you’ve got the right person inside your home taking care of your babies ❤️☺️❤️
