Some dogs simply become part of the fabric of a place โ woven into the friendships, the routines, the memories, and the hearts of the people who knew them.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐บ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ด๐. ๐
Remy first toddled into Bark-A-Bout on December 7, 2019, when he was just ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐น๐ฑ โ only 11 days past his first birthday. From that very first day, this little French Bulldog showed us exactly who he was: playful, confident, goofy, unique, and completely full of personality.
Starting his first day at Bark-A-Bout, Remy made fur'ends with just about every dog he could find! He chased, wrestled, barked along with the action, ran after tennis balls, got the zoomies, and when he finally wore himself out, he was never far from a handler โ ready to soak up some love and pets until it was time to play again. ๐ฅน
Over the years, Remy grew into a true little character. Sometimes outgoing and ready to get everybody chasing him, sometimes perfectly content to leisurely sniff around the yard and do his own thing. He knew what he wanted, he had opinions, and he was unapologetically ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ฌ. And that was exactly why we loved him.
Tiny Town just wonโt feel quite the same without him.
Two of Remyโs very best buddies were Samanthaโs pugs, ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ & ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป. ๐พ Three little guys with very big personalities, sharing their days as part of our Tiny Town crew. Those friendships became such a sweet part of Remyโs story here, and we know his buddies will feel his absence too.
And then there was his sister, ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ฒ. โค๏ธ Whether they were spending their days together or getting cozy at night, having his sister nearby was simply part of Remyโs world.
For nearly seven years, we got to watch Remy grow up.
We got the playful Remy.
The goofy Remy.
The zoomie Remy.
The โchase me!โ Remy.
The independent Remy.
The snuggly-after-playtime Remy.โค๏ธ
We wouldnโt trade a single version of him.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐บ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐น๐ ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐น๐ฑ, and saying goodbye to him feels far too soon. Our hearts are especially with his family, with Callie, Frank & Stein and with everyone who loved this one-of-a-kind little boy.
Thank you, Remy, for nearly seven years of friendships, funny moments, tiny-dog adventures, and memories that will stay with us long after your pawprints have left our play yards.
We hope somewhere beyond the Rainbow Bridge thereโs a whole Tiny Town waiting for you โ endless yards to explore, tennis balls to chase, friends to wrestle, and someone nearby whenever you decide itโs time for a few extra pets. ๐๐พ
