At RUFF Academy, we focus on practical, real-life dog training for everyday owners — helping dogs succeed beyond the classroom.

Built from experience training high-level working dogs, our classes are designed to help dogs confidently navigate the real world through structured guidance, clear communication, and real-life exposure.

What makes RUFF Academy different?

Training for everyday life — not just inside a classroom. We focus on practical skills dogs actually need in public and at home.

🐾 Smaller Class Sizes
More personalized coaching, less chaos, and individualized support for both dogs and handlers.

🐾 Practical Skills
Loose leash walking, calm behavior, confidence building, impulse control, public manners, neutrality, and relationship building.

🐾 4-Week Focused Structure
Shorter, more manageable classes designed for busy families while still building strong foundations.

Week 2 — Basic Obedience & Impulse Control
