SHARE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who rescues animals and incorporates them into programs to teach children and adults of all ages how to care for them. Southern Hope Animal Rescue is a family & volunteer operated 501(c)(3) organization that offers horse boarding, riding lessons, birthday parties, petting pen, adoptable animals and more! Our amenities include: a modern barn with five 12'

x12' fully matted box-stalls with access to grass pasture, concrete center aisle, ceiling fans, miniature horse stalls, wash stall with hot and cold water, tack storage area, large grass semi-private turnout with automatic waterers, large run-in sheds, a lighted dressage arena and round pen with sand footing.

Long over due, but we want to wish this SHARE Alumni a very Happy 9th Birthday! 🎉 Where has time gone?!

Happy Birthday Zander!! ❤️🎉🐴🎂

Check out his emaciated rescue pics when he was just 6 months old and fast forward to the golden hunk that he is now. Nutrition and proper management are AMAZING 🤩 We never thought he’d be well over 16hh!

Zander was adopted years ago and has been boarded with us ❤️

Sonnet is an AMAZING happy hound dog! 🐶 ❤️🎉

She gets along with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats, and loves children! House trained & crate trained! She’d be a great addition to your dog loving family! She loves to explore so you must have a tall fence 🐶 although training is coming along with smaller fences!

She’s 2 years young, already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is heartworm negative!❤️

Barn Vet Day!!!

Each horse in our care gets annual vaccinations, bloodwork, and dental floats.

Float means file! Yup, each year horses can develop sharp points on their teeth making chewing painful and ineffective. It’s our job alongside our vet to keep those sharp points in check!

Dr. Shanna encourages the volunteers to feel the teeth and learn too!

This time Sadie and Whitney helped ❤️🐴 thanks gals!

A special thanks to The Oaks Equine and Farm Service for over a decade of keeping our large animals healthy!

Fun Fact: We spend thousands upon THOUSANDS between all of the animals in our care each year. Their care far exceeds any adoption donation received.

Why isn’t Jade adopted yet?!

She’s a perfectly petite 1 year old German Shepherd mix weighing in around 40 lbs! She’s crate trained, house trained and wants her own human ❤️

She’s an interactive, bundle of energy who plays well with other dogs. And has recently been to a vineyard to hang out and listen to music! She was perfect!
