Meet Darla ! 🌸🐴

Darla is a 4-year-old Quarter Horse standing around 15.2 hands and still growing. When I say this girl is sweet, I mean it she has one of the best brains I’ve come across. She is incredibly willing, smart, easy to teach, and genuinely wants to please.

She is a simple, straightforward ride and has started learning to go on the bit, leg yield, and jump small courses. So far, she has yet to say “no.” She approaches everything we ask of her with a calm, positive attitude and is always willing to give something new a try.

On the ground, Darla is just as easy. She stands to be groomed, loads easily, gets along well with her field mates, and is an all-around pleasure to have in the barn. When people talk about a horse having a “puppy dog” personality this is exactly what they mean.

Darla does have a scar on her pastern that has been evaluated by a veterinarian and does not cause her any issues. She currently wears front shoes, which we plan to have pulled at her next cycle.

I really can’t say enough good things about this girl. She takes care of her rider, has an excellent attitude, and I could easily see her developing into a wonderful lesson horse in the near future.

I honestly wouldn’t mind this one staying in our barn, so come check her out before I regret listing her!
